LAND GROW LLC is a Ukrainian peat extraction and processing company operating in the Rivne region. The enterprise plays an important role in the energy security of the state. Since this type of fuel is one of the cheapest in the region, the company provides fuel to the socially vulnerable population.

The company's peat briquette plant supplies peat products for private consumers, poultry farms, greenhouse complexes, brick and cement factories, dairy and canning factories, swimming pool complexes, industrial and communal boiler houses. The team consists of managers with specialized education and workers, most of whom have worked in the peat industry and at this enterprise for more than 20 years.

In recent years, the enterprise extracts 100,000-180,000 tons of peat each year, mainly for fuel purposes, making up to 90,000 tons of peat briquettes from it. The company also actively supplies milled peat and peat briquettes for export to foreign partners.

1953

Technical documentation for the construction of the Verba-1 peat enterprise for the production of lump and milled peat has been ordered.

1955

The enterprise began to extract milled peat for the needs of the Mizotsky sugar factory and lump peat as fuel for sale to the population. Complexes of UMPF machines worked on extraction of milled peat.

1961

In the village of Smiga, Dubensky district, the first stage of a semi-briquette plant was built and 5.4 thousand tons of semi-briquettes were produced. Extraction of raw materials in the peat extraction fields was carried out mechanized by BPF-2M peat extraction combines, the most advanced at that time.

1961

A technical project for the new peat massif "Stupno" has been prepared to provide milled peat to: "Mizotsky Sugar Factory", agriculture and lump peat to residents of Dubenskyi and Zdolbunivskyi districts.

1964

Peat enterprise "Verba-1" was renamed to "Smyzke peat enterprise".

1968

"Smyzke Peat Enterprise" became part of the Rivne Peat Association.

1972 - 1974

Reconstruction of the semi-briquette plant was carried out with an increase in capacity by one and a half times - from 40 to 60 thousand tons of products per year. And in 1983, the peat enterprise exceeded the plan and achieved a record annual production volume of fuel semi-briquettes in the amount of 81 thousand tons. for a year.

1988

It was reorganized into the "Smygatorf" production site, and later in 1990, the Smyzky branch for peat extraction and processing was created as a structural unit of the "Rivnetorf" enterprise.

1997

In connection with the depletion of reserves in the peat massif "Stupno", work began on the preparation of the peat deposit "Starniki" for peat extraction near the village. Maidan of the Duben district, Rivne region.

2001

On its own, the enterprise built a narrow track 22 km long to the "Maidanska" section of the "Starnyki" deposit and began mining of milled peat with MTF ortho-mining machines in a complex with MTZ-82 wheeled tractors on a pneumatic drive, which at that time was practiced only at this enterprise.

2014

The enterprise was decided to terminate the legal entity of the Smygatorf subsidiary of the Rivnetorf State Enterprise by joining the Rivnetorf SE.

2023

LLC "LAND GROW" became the winner of the auction conducted through the electronic public procurement system ProZorro., regarding the privatization of the State Enterprise "Rivnetorf". The record-breaking auction for the sale of a peat enterprise during martial law became an example of the courage and bravery of Ukrainian business to participate in such auctions and invest in the economy of Ukraine.

Starting from 2014, the liquidation program of the company was carried out, and in 2018 the subsidiary company "Smygatorf" was terminated by making a corresponding entry in the unified state register of legal entities, individuals, enterprises and public organizations. The legal successor of the subsidiary "Smygatorf" is the enterprise "Land Grow".

Currently, Land Grow plays an important role in the country's energy security, that is, replacing imported gas. Since this type of fuel is one of the cheapest in the region, the company provides fuel to the socially vulnerable population. It should also be noted that the boiler rooms of schools, preschools, hospitals and other budget institutions have been repurposed for this type of production almost throughout the region.

During the peat extraction season, the company employs about two hundred people. The team consists of managers with specialized education and workers, most of whom have worked in the peat industry and at this enterprise for more than 20 years.
